Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Ust-Kamenogorsk
Arrive at Ust-Kamenogorsk Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner and trip briefing.
Transfer to Altay Lodge
After breakfast, scenic 4-hour drive to our mountain lodge in the East Kazakhstan region. Equipment check and safety briefing.
First Ski Touring Day
Introduction to the area with a moderate tour (700m ascent) to acclimatize. Focus on powder technique and safety protocols.
Northern Slopes
Full day ski touring on the northern slopes with 900-1000m of climbing, accessing pristine powder fields and spectacular views.
Alpine Ridges
Venture to higher alpine terrain with a challenging tour (1100m ascent) to reach untouched powder bowls. Evening traditional Kazakh dinner.
Forest Touring
Explore the beautiful larch forests with a mix of tree skiing and open powder fields. Approximately 800m of ascent.
Summit Day
Attempt a local summit (weather permitting) with a longer tour (1200m ascent) for spectacular panoramic views and an epic descent.
Final Touring Day
Choose favorite terrain for the final day of skiing. Evening farewell celebration with traditional Kazakh music and cuisine.
Departure
After breakfast, transfer back to Ust-Kamenogorsk for international departures.
